Boundary Acupuncture

Northern Idaho's Pathway to Natural Healing

Herald Article

The residents of Bonners Ferry have gained a amazing resource in obtaining optimum health: Boundary Acupuncture.  The clinic, operated by licensed acupuncturist Nelson Comerci, offers affordable, natural healthcare designed to bring the whole body to balance.

Comerci has been practicing Traditional Chinese Medicine since graduating from the American College of Chinese Medicine in San Francisco in 1999, and has been treating patients since 2000.  It was his own experience of receiving acupuncture as a patient in 1996 that led to his decision to pursue it as a career, and his commitment to helping others heal has been unwavering ever since.

Acupuncture, which is a traditional 5000 year-old mode of medical therapy, has been scientifically proven by the National Institute of Health (NIH) to reduce pain and inflammation, increase blood circulation, stimulate the immune system, and regulate blood pressure and heart rate.  The World Health Organization (WHO) has found it to be effective for numerous conditions, including sinusitis, asthma, allergies, bronchitis, common colds, headaches, toothaches, ulcers, constipation, neck pain, back pain and serious diseases such as Bell’s Palsy.  In addition, clinical studies have shown acupuncture to be effective in treating PMS, hemorrhoids, gallstones, hypertension, epilepsy, indigestion, carpal tunnel syndrome, and athletic injuries.  In short, it treats basically everything!

Boundary Acupuncture offers a general medical practice specializing in pain (acute and chronic), stress, digestive disorders, gynecological disorders, mental health disorders, auto-immune syndromes, hepatic-gallbladder disorders, and substance misuse (cigarettes, alcohol, and drugs).

Therapeutic techniques used are Japanese and Chinese Acupuncture (using thin, sterile, disposable, no-silicone needles with shallow insertion); Nutritional (Standard Process nutraceuticals); easy to use Herbal formulas (Evergreen Herbs – tested for microbes, mold, heavy metals & pesticides); Moxibustion (low smoke premium Japanese moxa); Cupping (negative pressure therapy); and Scraping (gua sha). The clinic also incorporates Laser Acupuncture for those who prefer not to have needles.  Laser Acupuncture is great for infants, pets, and those who have anxiety about traditional acupuncture.  Saliva testing is also available at the clinic thru Diagnos-Techs, the world’s leader in saliva marker testing.

Comerci is happy to be serving Bonners Ferry and looks forward to bringing more health and happiness into this community that he feels lucky to be part of.  Conveniently located near the intersection of Hwy 95 and District 2 Road, when you become a patient at Boundary Acupuncture you will receive comfortable, comprehensive, confidential and effective health care.
